2. Select the correct size — the cover should fully enclose the probe and cable
3. Check package integrity — do not use if sterile packaging is damaged
4. Apply ultrasound gel to the transducer face (unless using pre-gelled cover)

Application Steps

Step 1: Open the sterile package at the designated peel point without touching the inside.

Step 2: Grasp the cover at its open end, keeping hands on the outside only.

Step 3: Carefully insert the transducer into the cover, ensuring it reaches the distal end.

Step 4: Gently smooth the cover over the transducer face to eliminate air bubbles that cause acoustic shadowing.

Step 5: Secure the open end using the integrated elastic band or adhesive strip.
